‘t Blakertje’ is inspired by the earlier blackeners that were taken into the bedroom as portable candlesticks, for example, in the days before electric light.

The large handle is again bent by hand, a unique feature of K’willeminhuis, and the soft, round shape of the plate makes it very modern again.

‘t Blakertje’ measure between 20 and 15 cm, with the size varying due to the handmade handle.
